ANDY'S ANSWER: Ah... the burning question that everyone wants to know... When will I get my period? The short answer is that there is no definitive way that anyone can predict when your period will start. Most of the time, girls will get their first period about 2 - 2 1/2 years after they notice the first signs of puberty. In females, the first signs of puberty are that you start getting public hair and your breasts will start to develop. If it's been two years or more since you've started puberty, and especially if you start getting a thick, mucous discharge on your underwear, you are probably getting close to having your first period.
